Freaked was adapted for the comic book by John Clark and Gary Leach from the screenplay by Tim, Tom and Alex. It was published by The Bruce Hamilton Company, under the Hamilton Comics imprint. The comic is an abridged version of the film with little differences here and there, for instance Julie isn't an environmental activist, and Stuey only appears in the beginning of the story (in Rick's luggage at the airport). The book also contains an article with the filmographies of the actors in the film.
